J Yook]Coastal Energy Company (the “Company” or “Coastal Energy”) (TSX:CEN) (AIM:CEO), an independent exploration and production company with assets in Thailand, today announced that Andrew L. Cochran, a Non-Executive Director since 2011, has joined the Company as an Executive Director. Mr. Cochran will be based in London.

Mr. Cochran served as the CEO of Dominion Petroleum Limited from November 2009 until its acquisition in 2012. He has over 20 years of international experience in the oil and gas industry, including founding and executive positions with Salamander Energy plc and Endeavour International Corporation and working for Anadarko Petroleum, Veritas DGC Indonesia and Western Geophysical.
