Audyssey Dynamic EQ preserves bass and surround sound at every volume level and is a standard feature in many premier home theater systems. The mobile application of Dynamic EQ in NTT DOCOMO smartphones is customized for its media players. It solves problems often seen in content playback on mobile phones, such as distorted and unnatural sound, low volumes, lack of bass and varying volume levels. Now, when using NTT DOCOMO's music player with headphones, listeners can enjoy great sound and deep bass at any volume.

“For the past decade, we‘ve been creating technologies to eliminate acoustical problems in theaters, studios, home theaters and automobiles,” said Chris Kyriakakis, Audyssey’s co-founder and CTO. “We're now bringing this expertise to media players so that people can enjoy rich, clear sound from their mobile phones.”

Audyssey‘s work with NTT DOCOMO is part of the company’s initiative to enable manufacturers to greatly improve the audio performance in their mobile devices. Last month Audyssey released a major update to Premium Mobile, its audio suite used by major consumer electronics manufacturers to overcome the many acoustical challenges of mobile devices.
